Experience the unspoilt beauty of the Bernese Oberland holiday resort of Meiringen in the Haslital, south east of Lake Brienz. The Haslital has around three hundred kilometres of walking paths offering a variety of choice from romantic alpine trails, high alpine moors and high alpine passes and gorges. Ths strolls along the Aare river and the themed hikes such as the 'Dwarf Trail' are fantastic for families or the more adventurous there are possibilities of all day hiking on high alpine passes such as the 'Susten' and 'Grimsel' pass.

Flight from the UK to Zurich and 2nd class rail transfer to your resort of Meiringen in the Haslital. Overnight in Meiringen. |

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel and step out and explore the wonders of the Hasli Valley. Ensure you have a day pack with you with plenty of water and the village of Meiringen has various options for choosing a suitable pack lunch. Meiringen has many options of walking straight from the village itself but your included Swiss Card will give you reductions of up to 50% should you choose to travel on the local transport to explore another spot.
