Day 3: Hiking Wengen to Grindelwald via Kleine Scheidegg
Wengen to Grindelwald. Hike to your next hotel in the impressive mountain village of Grindelwald. This classic mountain walk offers beautiful views of the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and the Trümmelbach valley. Along the terrace at the foot of the Männlichen range, the path meanders slowly up through woods and Alpine meadows to Wengernalp (1,890m/6,200ft) and then around the slopes of the Lauberhorn to Kleine Scheidegg. Instead of hiking, you might prefer to take the gondola from Wengen to the Männlichen which offers magnificent views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. From here, a memorable mountain walk takes you above the meadows to the Kleine Scheidegg and then back downhill through Alpine pastures at the foot of the Eiger to your final destination. Overnight in Grindelwald.

(Männlichen – Kleine Scheidegg - 1 hr 15 mins)

Day 6: Hiking Grindelwald to Haslital-Meiringen via Grosse Scheidegg
Grindelwald to Haslital-Meiringen. The next planned hike takes you from Grindelwald to Grosse Scheidegg and onto the village of Meiringen. To get to Grosse Scheidegg, you have two options. Either a 2-hour hike along a footpath which takes you through the lush pastures to the Horbach, past Hotel Wetterhorn until you reach the Grosse Scheidegg, or you can take the ‘First’ Gondola (pay locally). From here, walk through the Alpine meadows until you reach the ‘Grindel Oberlager’ huts which overlook some  breathtaking scenery and continue eastwards to the Grosse Scheidegg. From there, take a path downhill through some beautiful forests towards the Schwarzwald-Alp and Rosenlaui, very close to the spectacular waterfall above Meiringen village (the Reichenbach Falls). Down to Meiringen either by cogtrain or by walking down. Overnight in Haslital-Meiringen.
