Lucerne - Interlaken - Montreux
Spend your summer holidays in Switzerland: Discover the very best of Switzerland on this 8-day tour through some spectacular mountains and past sparkling blue lakes. You will also get the chance to sample two of our most famous exports: chocolate and cheese! Starting in Lucerne you journey to the famous mountains of the Bernese Oberland. From there the Golden Pass train takes you through some breathtaking countryside to Montreux on the ‘Swiss Riviera’. From here you take the ‘Chocolate Train’ to visit both a cheese and chocolate factory in the local area. One of the best ways to spend a summer holiday in Switzerland.

| Day 1: | Arrival Flight from the UK to Zürich. 1st class rail transfer to Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne. |
| Day 2: | Day at leisure Take advantage of your SwissCard and enjoy an excursion to Mt. Pilatus or Mt. Rigi. Both excursions can be combined with a cruise on Lake Lucerne. |
| Day 3: | Golden Pass Panoramic Take the Golden Pass train over the Brünig Pass to Interlaken. Overnight in Interlaken. |
| Day 4: | Jungfraujoch Excursion Enjoy an excursion to the famous Jungfraujoch the highest train station in Europe at 11,300ft (3,454m). Overnight in Interlaken. |
| Day 5: | Excursion to First Excursion to the First one of Grindelwald’s ‘house’ mountains. The aerial gondola takes you to the summit (7,122ft) and one of the most impressive views of the Swiss Alps. Overnight in Interlaken. |
| Day 6: | Golden Pass Panoramic All aboard the Golden Pass train for the journey from Interlaken through the rural Simmental region to Zweisimmen and on to Montreux. Do not miss the great views of Lake Geneva and its terraced vineyards. Overnight in Montreux. |
| Day 7: | Chocolate Train Chocolate and Cheese is the theme of the day. Board the Chocolate Train and enjoy a day out for the whole family – including coffee and croissant en route. Overnight in Montreux. |
| Day 8: | Departure Rail transfer to Zürich or Geneva. Return flight to the UK. |
You will be accommodated in centrally located 3* hotels, within easy walking distance to the railway station and amenities.
