Programme
Day 1: Arrival
Flight from the UK to Zürich or Geneva, rail transfer to Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 2: Mount Rigi Excursion
Excursion to Mount Rigi . Enjoy the round trip travelling by boat across Lake Lucerne to Vitznau and up by cogwheel train to 5,500 ft. There are over 100km of gentle walking and hiking trails as well as various restaurants with sun terraces. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 3: Transfer to St. Moritz
Rail transfer via Thalwil and Chur to St. Moritz. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 4: Day at leisure
Exploring the stunning Engadine countryside is a must ! There are hundreds of walking and hiking trails for all abilities. Alternatively make use of your Half Fare Card and join the famous Bernina Express. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 5: Glacier Express
Today join the famous Glacier Express . The train crosses no less than 291 bridges and 91 tunnels on its journey to Zermatt – an amazing engineering feat let alone an unforgettable journey. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 6: Gornergrat Excursion
Excursion to Gornergrat - the highest cogwheel train in Switzerland. Enjoy the view of the world famous Matterhorn. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 7: Transfer to Geneva
Morning in Zermatt or early departure by train to Geneva- Switzerland’s second largest city. It offers a wealth of tourist attraction, museums, exhibitions and excellent shopping facilities. Overnight in Geneva.
Day 8: Departure
Day at leisure and evening flight from Geneva to the UK.

You will be accommodated in centrally located 3* hotels, within easy walking distance to the railway station and amenities.
