Montreux – Interlaken - Davos
Enjoy your summer holidays in Switzerland. This sensational panoramic trip takes you along some of Switzerland’s most scenic routes, experiencing all that the country has to offer. One of the best ways to spend a summer holiday in Switzerland.

Programme
Day 1: Arrival
Flight from the UK to Geneva. On arrival the train glides swiftly along the shores of Switzerland’s largest lake, Lake Geneva to your first destination Montreux. Overnight in Montreux.
Day 2: Day at leisure
A day at leisure in Montreux, the heart of the Swiss Riviera. Visit the famous Chateau de Chillon, one of the best-preserved medieval castle in Europe, or take one of the many excursions on the lake. Overnight in Montreux.
Day 3: Golden Pass Panoramic
Board the Golden Pass train from Montreux and relax in the 1st class panoramic carriage as it sweeps through the many vineyards and country estates on its way to Interlaken. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 4 & 5: Jungfraujoch Excursion & day at leisure
On one of your two days you have a trip to the highest train station in Europe at the Jungfraujoch included, here you can visit the Ice Palace, enjoy a husky sledge ride or simply admire the spectacular view from the Sphinx observation terrace. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 6: Glacier Express
Depart Interlaken by train to Brig where you will join the Glacier Express for a thrilling ride in the 1st class panoramic carriage to Davos, taking in some of the most dramatic scenery Switzerland has to offer. Overnight in Davos.
Day 7: Bernina Express Excursion
You will join the Bernina Express over the Bernina Pass. Past mighty glaciers and over the highest point at 2,253 metres down to the palm trees and Oleander of the mountain village of Tirano (Italy). Visit the cathedral and experience some of the exceptional local cuisine on offer in the many cafés and restaurants before starting your return journey. Overnight in Davos.
Day 8: Departure
Rail transfer to Zürich airport for your return flight to the UK.

You will be accommodated in centrally located 3* hotels, within easy walking distance to the railway station and amenities.

Please note: All 3* hotels as mentioned below depending on availability at time of booking.

Price:
  • £ 890 per adult sharing twin/double room
  • £ 432 per child under12 yrs, sharing a room with at least 2 full paying adults (child prices vary depending on age)
  • £ 1107 per person in single room
  • Subject to availability at time of booking
     

Price includes:
Flights, airport taxes, carbon offset contribution (see climate care)  train transfers, seat reservations and excursion as per programme in 1st class, Lunch on the Glacier Express, accommodation in 3* hotels sharing twin/double room & breakfast. 


Optional Extras:
  • Upgrade to 4* accommodation: £ 169 per person for 7 nights (Single room on request)
  • Add extra nights at any of the resorts
