Hergiswil, Lake Lucerne
Spend your summer holidays in Switzerland: The picturesque village of Hergiswil hugs the shores of Lake Lucerne, one of Europe's most attractive lakes, set in idyllic surroundings so typical of Switzerland. Old-fashioned steamers crisscross the lake and soaring mountain peaks are reflected in the shimmering deep blue waters below. Two full day and one half day excursion are included in the holiday. Programme
| Day 1: | UK to Reims Across the Channel to Calais and on to Reims for our overnight stay. |
| Day 2: | Reims to Hergiswil Continuing southwards, we cross into Switzerland arriving in Hergiswil in time for Dinner. |
| Days 3 to 7/14: | Hergiswil Enjoy your time in this beautiful region - relax in Hergiswil, with its picturesque lakeside setting and majestic mountain backdrop, and admire the surrounding area on our excursions. Hergiswil offers shops, cafés, bathing and gardens and the delights of beautiful Luzern are just a short boat ride away. |
| Day 8/15: | Hergiswil to N. France Sadly, we must leave Hergiswil behind and return to France for dinner and our final night. |
| Day 9/16: | N. France to UK An early start bound for Calais for our morning sailing to Dover then home. |

Full Day Brienz, Interlaken & Grindelwald
To the woodcarving village of Brienz before a visit to the popular resort of Interlaken. We then enjoy an exhilarating ride by narrow gauge railway to world famous mountain resort of Grindelwald.
Full Day Mountain Magic
A day of scenic delights today as we explore Switzerland’s stunning mountain peaks and passes. An optional mountain train ride is available on the route of the famous Glacier Express.
Half Day Lucerne
Enjoy a morning visit to beautiful Lucerne. We offer the choice of returning to Hergiswil by coach or by taking an optional cruise on board one of Lake Lucerne’s historic paddle steamers.
The Hotel:
The popular 4-star Seehotel Pilatus enjoys a superb location right on the lakeside in Hergiswil. The hotel offers excellent leisure facilities for your relaxation, together with impressive views from the pleasant lakeside garden. All rooms with private facilities, radio, telephone, hairdryer and satellite TV, most with balcony. Dining room with lake view serving buffet breakfast and dinner with choice.
