St. Moritz in the summer

St.Moritz lies in the heart of the Engadine valley on the southern side of the Alps and very close to the Italian border. One of the most famous resorts in the world, its origin as a spa town can still be seen in the extensive lakeside installations. The dry, sparkling climate and the fact that it has more days of sunshine per year than anywhere else in Switzerland, means it is the perfect summer holiday destination. There are certainly plenty of activities to choose from: hiking in Switzerland’s only National Park, river rafting, horse riding, gold, mountain biking, sailing, swimming, tennis and even summer skiing on the upper slopes of the Corvatsch.
