Ski Holidays Villars
Spend your Switzerland ski holidays in Villars: At a height of 1,300m Villars is set on a sunny plateau above the Rhone Valley, with superb views over the Alpes Vaudoises. Villars is a relaxing, relatively quiet family resort and is ideal for beginners with approximately 50% of the 67 ski slopes suitable for this level. The Alpes Vaudoises ski pass covers a wide area and gives access to 220km of pistes. The link from Villars to Les Diablerets and its glacier is best left to advanced skiers, but the interconnected areas of Bretaye and the Chaux offer skiing more suited to beginners and intermediate skiers. The scenerey is beautiful and there area several restaurants, particulary around Bretaye, at the centre of the ski area. A chairlift from Bretaye takes skiers up to Grand Chamossaire and a choice of runs at all standards, back to Bretaye, down to the gondola station, or at the end of the day, through the trees right to down to the village. A perfect place for a Switzerland ski holiday for beginners.

4* Hotel Le Bristol Just a few minutes walk from the centre of Villars with panoramic views of the Alps. Facilities include homely lounge with open fireplace, bar, restaurants, games room and wellness area with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and fitness room. All rooms are clad in wood and have ensuite facilities, hairdryer, radio, TV, telephone, minibar, safe and balcony. Standard rooms have mountain view while superior rooms offer valley-view.
4* Eurotel Victoria The 4-star hotel enjoys a central but quiet location only 5 minutes from Villars centre and the mountain railway to Bretaye. One of the runs down to the village ends approximately 50 metres from the hotel. Facilities include lounge, bar, restaurant, sun terrace, swimming pool, sauna, fitness room and children's playroom (unsupervised). All rooms have ensuite facilities, hairdryer, radio, telephone, TV, minibar and safe. Standard rooms are north-facing while superior rooms are south-facing with balcony.
