Ski Holidays Mürren
This beautiful, cosy little alpine village called Mürren, lies at the foot of the Schilthorn and is the highest ski resort in the area. Set on a sunny plateau, approachable only by cable car or funicular railway, making it completely car-free and therefore an ideal resort for families with young children. The sunny setting, the picture postcard wooden chalets and the overall fantastic views of the Eiger, Mönch and the Jungfrau make this resort an all time favourite with British Skiers. The large Apline Sports Centre has an indoor pool, children's pool, whirlpool, sauna and solarium, gym, skating rink, library and covered tennis and squash courts. A fantastic location to spend ski holidays in Switzerland.
4* Hotel Eiger This traditional family-run, first-class hotel is in a central position, just opposite the mountain railway station to Lauterbrunnen, approximately 5 - 8 minutes' walk to the neares ski lifts. Facilities- comfortable lounge, spacious dining room, à-la-carte restaurant, indoor swimming pool with whirlpool, sauna, solarium (supplement), sun terrace, children's playroom (unsupervised), bar and piano dancing, lift. 3* Hotel Blumental The cosy, family-run Blumental hotel lies right in the centre of the car-free cillage. It is only a few minutes' walk to the mountain railways as well as to the Sports Centre, where quests enjoy free entrance.
