Ski Holidays Klosters
Spend your Switzerland ski holidays in Klosters: Although Klosters has, for a long time, been associated with the jet-set film stars and even royalty, it still remains a typical, friendly, Swiss village, with picturesque chalets and horse-drawn sleighs. The Klosters/Davos ski area gives access to a wonderful 305km of runs serviced by an extensive system of 50 cable cars, chair lifts, railways and drag lifts taking in the areas of Gotschna/Parsenn, Schatzalp/Strela, Madrisa, Pischa, Jakobshorn and Rinerhorn. One the favourite runs in the extensive Gotschna/Parsenn area is the descent from the Weissfluh to Kublis. The Madrisabahn gondola opens up a further 50km of slopes with another seven ski lifts providing an extensive area of skiing at intermediate level. There are good ski and snowboard schools in Klosters and Saas, with classes at all six levels, private tuition and classes for children. There are also around 32km of scenic cross-country trails around Klosters, some of which are illuminated at night. A perfect place for enjoyable ski holidays in Switzerland.
