The Kleine Scheidegg, reached by cog railway from Grindelwald, is a starting point for some wonderful red and blue ski runs at all levels, with some harder, black ones. From here there is great skiing back to Grindelwald Grund, down to Wengen, or across to the Maennlichen area. From the village there is also direct access to the First area via the Firstbahn Gondola which takes skiers right up to 2,168m. Take the chairlift to Oberjoch at 2,486m offering a large area of blue and red ski runs, mostly south-facing and with fantastic views.
