The world-famous resort of Montreux is located in the heart of the Swiss Riviera. It boasts a beautiful lakeside location, a mild climate and , of course, the famous Chateau de Chillon, one of the best preserved medieval castles in Europe. Its diverse scenery, with palm trees on one side of the lake and snow-capped mountains peaks on the other, has attracted visitors since the 19th century. Trains take visitors to the summits of the surrounding mountains or you can take a steamboat on Lake Geneva to explore the other resorts along this famous lake. Transfer Time: 1h20
